Sylvain Grenier was backstage at WWE Raw on Monday, working as an agent for the company. Grenier recently revealed that he was training to be an agent and started in his new role last Monday on Raw. He noted in the interview with TVASports.ca that he has not been assigned to a brand.
Speaking to WWE.com, Grenier discussed his new role.
"It's nerve-racking but exciting. It's a long time coming, but I'm back. I'm very very pleased. I'm gonna help the new kids around the block. Some veterans. I have a lot to learn again. It's a new job, a new way, a new vision, a new reality. It's a new aspect and I'm thrilled," he said.
When asked who he's excited to work with, Grenier commented, "There are so many great future talents. I love NXT and see a lot of SmackDown guys. Buddy Murphy has great potential. I love the tag team division. I think they did great. We have a lot of characters and personas. I'm excited about that. I was a multi-time Tag Team Champion, so maybe I have a little input."
Grenier also mentioned that his boots have been dusty and hanging forever, but "never say never" as far as an in-ring return. Grenier has stayed active on the Independent scene over the years, but only wrestled twice in 2019.
