It's official! Next week on NXT UK the WWE Universe will get the match they've been waiting for in regard to the NXT UK Women's Division. The current reigning and defending NXT UK Women's Champion, The Final Boss Meiko Satomura will be putting her title on the line against long time NXT UK resident Fashionista, Jinny Couture! The two are scheduled to clash after numerous altercations stemming from long before Satomura held NXT UK gold. Jinny has been waiting and plotting and strategizing for this very opportunity to finally hold gold in WWE.
After several years of back and forth action, feuds, downs, injuries, and ups, Jinny Couture has never been more ready to be back in the title conversations at NXT UK. The WWE NXT UK Women's Title has been one that has eluded Jinny for several years. The longer Kay Lee Ray reigned over all in the division the bigger the chip on Jinny's shoulder grew. A constant reminder of what she hadn't been able to win as she rose through the NXT UK ranks. Impressively, Jinny Couture, in her NXT UK tenure has gone up against almost everyone. Kay Lee Ray. Doudrop. Isla Dawn. Aleah James. Amale. Valkyrie. Dani Luna…the list goes on. And of course much to her own chagrin and mental torment, she still didn't gain WWE gold. Although, that could, and if she has anything to say about that, next week - that will change!
Meiko Satomura was able to do what Jinny was not. Satomura ended the reign of the Scary Queen of Scots, Kay Lee Ray in order to become the current NXT UK Women's Champion. A feat that wasn't easily accomplished and took her two attempts in order to accomplish. Nevertheless, The Final Boss stared in the face of opposition and won. The world renowned veteran competitor will not be easily defeated. She will not be easily tricked. As a matter of fact, there's probably very little that Meiko Satomura hasn't seen or faced. The odds will certainly be stacked against Jinny, but then again, maybe that will work in her favor. After all being underestimated is actually a great advantage.
Tune in to NXT UK next week as these two women battle it out over WWE championship gold! Champion versus challenger. Veteran versus novice. Passion and grit versus hunger and anger. The Final Boss versus The Fashionista. Next week Jinny Couture challenges Meiko Satomura for the pinnacle seat at the top of the NXT UK Women's Division. She has her sights set on Satmura and the gold around her waist. Next week Jinny Couture aims to finally capture the NXT UK Women's Title by any means necessary.
