Tag Team Dissolves On Raw, Veteran Wrestler Turns Heel

Welp.

It turns out that the friendship behind The Golden Truth is a lie.

Nic Nemeth Wants To Represent TNA And Have His Name Be Synonymous With The Company

A dirty, damned lie.

After a backstage segment in which R-Truth professed his apologies to Goldust for costing them the Tag Team Turmoil match last week on Raw--which would have made them the #1 Contenders to the Hardys Tag Team Titles--Goldust turned on R-Truth during their entrance in the third hour.

Goldie beat down Truth in the corner, tossed him into the barricade, then back into the ring and answered that question he's been asking for years:

Golden Truth had a "Will they or won't they?" storyline surrounding their formation for several months at the beginning of 2016, then stayed mired in the undercard for most of their tenure as a tag team.

But hey. That's all over now, and I'm sure they'll both get significant singles pushes now that they've broken up.
