Tama Tonga wants the world to know that when everyone else left, he remained loyal.
Speaking to What Culture at Starrcast, Tonga revealed that he's turned down WWE offers on two separate occasions.
"I'm a believer in this shit -- New Japan. I've been a ride or die, hard player since day one I stepped on that shit. I'm the only one who stayed loyal to that company even when WWE came to me not once, but fucking twice. I turned that mother fucker down. I stayed true. Loyalty. Bullet Club. Loyalty."
Tonga joined NJPW in 2010 and was part of the original Bullet Club, formed in 2013. While original members Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) and Karl Anderson left for WWE, Tonga and Bad Luck Fale remained in NJPW.
In July, Tonga, along with Tanga Loa and Bad Luck Fale, turned on Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega. At The G1 Finals event, Tonga, Loa, and Taiji Ishimori, known as the Bullet Club OGz, won the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles from The Young Bucks and Marty Scurll.
