Another Raw Superstar is on the shelf.
This past weekend on a WWE house show in Augusta, Maine, longtime WWE superstar Tamina sustained a concussion. It took place during a match where Tamina was teaming with Sarah Logan, facing Dana Brooke & Naomi. The severity of the injury is not yet known.
Tamina has been off of cable broadcasts for WWE for months, last appearing in a Women's Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania, shortly before her tag team partner Nia Jax would be out of action. Since then, she's only appeared on WWE Main Event matches about once a month, losing to Natalya repeatedly.
The Wrestling Observer's report on the matter mentioned that when WWE's doctor Chris Amann called the report in to WWE offices, he was concerned about how the situation would look on social media, as she was given medical attention at ringside.
Raw's brand is already pretty hampered, as they lost Ronda Rousey after WrestleMania, Nia Jax is sidelined with double knee surgery, and Ruby Riott had to undergo surgery on both of her shoulders.
