Tatum Paxley Credits STARDOM’s Suzu Suzuki For Inspiring ‘Cemetery Drive’ Finisher

Suzu Suzuki was Tatum Paxley’s inspo.
For the first time since joining WWE’s main roster, Tatum Paxley is a champion. She and Alexa Bliss defeated Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) on SmackDown to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Paxley is making the media rounds, and one of her chats was with Rick Ucchino and Tommy Dreamer on Off The Ropes. Paxley’s finishing move, the ‘Cemetery Drive,’ became a subject of conversation, and Paxley shared that it is inspired by current World of Stardom Champion Suzu Suzuki.
“The finish, I had seen a wrestler — who goes by Suzu Suzuki — pull it out… When I had seen that move, I had not been so drawn to a move that heavy before. I had to take inspo from it, and I even tried different variations of my current finish. No matter what I do, I have to add this twist into it. It has to have this twist, and I just worked out on it for such a long time and then when I finally got to pull it out, I was like, ‘Yeah, this is perfect.’ It’s one of those things you look at and you’re like, huh!? That’s what I want people to think when they see me so my finish works really well with that.”
The Cemetery Drive has also led Paxley to NXT Women’s North American Title and NXT Women’s Title wins.
