Tatum Paxley Reflects On Winning WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles With Alexa Bliss

Tatum Paxley looks back on the moment with Alexa Bliss.
One of the highlights from the October 9th Friday Night SmackDown was Tatum Paxley and Alexa Bliss defeating Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
While guest appearing on Off The Ropes, Paxley spoke about the accolade.
“Literally everything that I’m doing was something I could not imagine. It’s just so unbelievable. I remember years ago — over five years ago at this point — sitting at the job I was working at, at a supplement store. I would have my phone propped up against a computer and I was just watching matches of hers on YouTube. Just going, ‘Wow, this looks really fun. I think I can do this. I would like to start doing this.’ Then to fast forward, I have a match against her, and then to fast forward, now I am a champion with her on SmackDown. I feel like when I look back to it and I was watching those matches of hers, it was like I was just manifesting this whole thing and I didn’t even realize it. I’m just so unbelievably thankful and blessed to be in the position that I am in right now, and even when I was holding those titles up in Lafayette and I look over and I see Alexa Bliss and I look out and I see all the fans, I hear the pyro — I think that was the first time I had pyro. I was like, ‘Whoa. This is real.’ It’s real!”
It is Paxley’s first title win on the main roster. Bliss is now a five-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
