Tatum Paxley vs. Izzi Dame Set For NXT New Year’s Evil
A new addition to the special.
There was an in-ring segment with Izzi Dame on the taped 12/30 episode of WWE NXT on The CW. She was addressing Tatum Paxley, and Paxley would end up making her way to the ring.
She proceeded to throw out the challenge to Dame for a match at NXT New Year’s Evil on January 6th. Paxley stated that The Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) will not be involved in the match. Dame tried to sneak-attack Paxley, but Paxley put her down on the mat.
They had a singles match at the Deadline Premium Live Event, and Dame defeated Paxley after receiving an assist from The Culling’s Shawn Spears and Niko Vance. Dame, Vance, and Spears turned on Paxley and cost her the NXT Women’s Championship at week one of NXT Gold Rush.
