Templario Is Excited To Represent CMLL At MLW Fightland
Templario is excited to wrestle at MLW Fightland 2025. He’s looking forward to representing CMLL and potentially walking away with the MLW World Middleweight Title.
Ahead of the event, Templario spoke with Fightful Español’s Luis Pulido. During the interview, he says he’s happy to show the crowd in Texas everything that CMLL offers the world of professional wrestling.
“Very happy, lots of opportunities. It is a serious company that also gave a projection to the Lion Templar Warrior. I’m very happy to represent my home, which is the Consejo Mundial (CMLL), and showcase everything that company has to offer. This way, people will see that the Consejo Mundial is a place of high quality, and they will enjoy this event. I am happy to be one of the wrestlers that will be here on September 13, and the truth is, we are working hard in the gym to show them a great show and that they see a new Lion Templar Warrior.”
At the event, he will be wrestling Ikuro Kwon for the vacated MLW World Middleweight Title. This is a match that he says he’s looking forward to, as he wants the chance to wrestle Kwon one-on-one to prove that he is the best that Lucha Libre has to offer.
“The last match I had with this company (MLW) was a three-way match with a Korean wrestler (Ikuro Kwon), and I want to face him. He took the championship that I was going to compete for against Mistico. Due to fate and injuries, he had to give up the championship. But right now, it’s against him. I want that championship, but I also want to have that fight with him in the ring, one-on-one, and the outcome of the fight will be very different. He’s going to face the best of the CMLL, and I’m looking forward to that match soon.”
