Templario Wins MLW World Middleweight Title

Templario is the new MLW World Middleweight Champion.

He captured the title by defeating KUSHIDA at the MLW vs. CMLL event on May 1 at Arena Mexico.

The finish saw the new champion hit the El Templo (Detonation Kick) for the victory.

This is the second reign as MLW World Middleweight Champion for the luchador. KUSHIDA’s reign lasted 93 days. He won the title from Templario at MLW Battle Riot VIII. He made three successful title defenses.

Templario held the title for 138 days for his first reign, making three successful title defenses.
