Tessa Blanchard is not cleared to compete.
Fightful Select reported early in the afternoon that Blanchard wasn't cleared. A few hours later, Tessa posted to Instagram claiming that "the fake news kept her as the main event" before confirming that the story was, in fact, not fake news.
Ahead of her scheduled match with Jody Threat at TNA Border Brawl, she revealed that she wasn't medically cleared to compete. She said that her ears were ringing, her jaw was killing her, and BIOFLEX had to save her life.
She then introduced Vipress as her replacement. Thanks to some interference from Victoria Crawford, Vipress defeated Jody, putting Team USA up 5 points to Team Canada's three points in the competition.
TNA later announced that Tessa Blanchard sustained Temporomandibular joint dysfunction during her match at TNA Under Siege.
