Impact Wrestling has secured a star in the Knockouts division.
In June, Fightful Wrestling reported that Tessa Blanchard had been working with Impact Wrestling without a contract. She continued to appear in matches on episodes of Impact Wrestling and has been part of the Knockout Women's Championship storyline heading into Slammiversary.
On Tuesday, Impact Wrestling announced that Blanchard signed a long term contract with the wrestling company.
While competing at Impact Wrestling this year, Blanchard has acquired several Championships in different independent promotions including the PCW Ultra Women's Championship and recently won the Phoenix of Rise Championship on a event co-promoted by Impact Wrestling and RISE which aired on Twitch.
