Ring of Honor and New Japan are teaming up once again for the Global Wars tour in early November. The first NJPW talent signed to appeared at the event in Los Ingobernables de Japon leader Tetsuya Naito.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Tetsuya Naito will make his much-anticipated return to Ring of Honor when the two companies join forces for November’s Global Wars tour, which will be streamed LIVE for HonorClub.
Naito, regarded as one of the most skilled and charismatic competitors in the world, is a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and two-time former IWGP Intercontinental Champion. The leader of Los Ingobernables de Japon, one of the top factions in pro wrestling, also has won the prestigious G1 Climax tournament twice, most recently in 2017.
Naito made his ROH debut in 2008 and has been a part of NJPW’s tours of ROH every year since 2015. His last appearances in ROH were during the War of the Worlds tour this past May.
Global Wars events have been must-see shows since their inception four years ago. All roads now lead to the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 6, 2019, and what transpires on the Global Wars shows could play a significant role in what the historic card looks like.
Naito took part in the ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds tour in May.
The Global Wars tour runs from November 7 - 11 with stops in Lewiston, ME, Lowell, MA, Buffalo, NY, and Toronto, ON.
