The Miz Says Shane McMahon Originally Wanted To Go Higher With WrestleMania 35 Suplex Spot

The Miz says Shane McMahon wanted their WrestleMania 35 spot to be even bigger.

The heated rivalry between Miz and McMahon accelerated at WrestleMania 35, as they faced off in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The contest came to an end after Miz suplexed McMahon off a high platform. McMahon ended up landing on top of Miz, allowing for him to make the phony pinfall for the victory.

Appearing on a recent episode of Kittle Things, Miz revealed that Shane McMahon originally wanted the spot to be even higher up.

“He wanted to go higher. He was like, ‘Let’s go higher. As a matter of fact, I think we can take some boxes out of there.’ I’m like, ‘We’re not taking boxes out of there. This is going to be great.’ He’s like, ‘I feel like we can go another five feet.’ I’m like, ‘I’m telling you, it’s fine. I’m telling you, it’s gonna be great. No one’s gonna know the difference.”

As many fans will know, McMahon has a history of taking high risks in WWE. In 2016, the 46-year-old jumped off the top of Hell In A Cell to deliver an elbow drop to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.
