Earlier this week, after the announcement of PAC’s passing, The Rock would take to social media in order to memorialize the late professional wrestler in a video that brought attention to the divide between wrestling companies even in the wake of a tragic loss. Now, ‘The People’s Champion’ has clarified further how he sees ‘wrestling competition’ in the wake of losing ‘one of our own.’
In a new Instagram comment, The Rock clarified further that when a wrestler passes away, he does not care nor does he see ‘competition’ in wrestling, noting that humanity matters most to him.
“You’re right brother, and humanity matters to me. I was born into this business and I’ve seen it all, but when one of our own passes away, I don’t care nor do I see “our competition”, I care about the wrestlers and how it affects them. I’ve been there. To me, humanity matters most.”
