Thekla Retains AEW Women’s Title At AEW Double Or Nothing 2026

Thekla retains the AEW Women’s Championship.

At AEW Double or Nothing 2026, Thekla defended her AEW Women’s Title in a four-way match involving Hikaru Shida, Jamie Hayter, and Kris Statlander. 

The bout started with Shida, Hayter, and Statlander teaming up to take out the Women’s Champion.

Towards the end of the match, Statlander hit Sunday Night Fever on Thekla. She went for the cover, but Shida hit her with a kendo stick from behind. Shida accidentally hit Statlander earlier in the bout, which caused a later altercation.

After Shida broke the cover, she was sent outside the ring by Thekla. The Toxic Spider then stomped Statlander for the pinfall.
