Thekla discusses her upcoming AEW Women’s World Title title defense against Willow Nightingale later tonight at AEW Redemption.

Willow Nightingale recently returned to the ring after suffering a shoulder injury that resulted in her being forced to relinquish the AEW TBS Title and miss out on competing in the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Cup. However, she would return in time to earn her shot at the AEW Women’s World Title for AEW Redemption later tonight.

While speaking during AEW’s Countdown to AEW Redemption, Thekla spoke about her upcoming match with Willow at AEW Redemption.

“Willow isn’t just a dumb bitch. She’s actually pretty smart for a dumb bitch. She avoided losing the TBS title, she avoided being in the Owen Hart, and she just came back at the exact right time. Willow, baby. No amount of manifesting and dreaming is going to save you from what I’m going to do to you at redemption. Have I not been running women’s wrestling while Willow hurt her shoulder while picking out record albums?”
