Fans haven't seen Thunder Rosa in action since the August 15, 2022 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. Before her scheduled title defense against Toni Storm at AEW All Out 2022, Rosa relinquished the AEW Women's Title due to a back injury and has not returned to the ring.
Speaking at the Busted Open WrestleMania Party, Rosa provided an update on her condition.
"That's the question everyone asks me during the signings. Unfortunately, I wasn't cleared and I don't think I'm going to be cleared anytime soon. I need another MRI," she said.
Rosa has not been back in the ring, but she has been traveling with AEW and providing Spanish commentary for shows.
Britt Baker has been outspoken regarding Thunder Rosa taking time off from the ring, but still making personal appearances.
