A second match has been announced for the February 4 episode of AEW Rampage.
The feud between Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez has been growing ever since Mercedes made her surprise return to AEW on December 29. On that night, she helped Jade Cargill defeat Rosa to advance to the finals of the TBS Championship Tournament. They have spent the past few weeks exchanging attacks, both physically and verbally.
During tonight's Rampage, a video was released hyping up the match. In it, Mercedes says that Thunder has been her priority from day one and next week gets to show her what the rest of the wrestling world already knows. Not only that, but she plans on walking away from the bout with a 1-0 record.
