Thunder Rosa Vacates Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling International Princess Title

Thunder Rosa is vacating her International Princess title at Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling.

Rosa, who is also the NWA Women?s World Champion, revealed on social media that she is relinquishing the International Princess title as she is unable to travel to Japan due to COVID-19 restrictions. Rosa said she will come back to the Japanese promotion when the COVID-19 situation is over in an effort to regain the title.

?Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling fans. This is Thunder Rosa talking to you from Texas, USA. I am very sad that I am not here to say I am coming back to Tokyo Joshi this year. Unfortunately, I will not be able to defend my championship, thus I have to relinquish my championship, my International Princess championship back to Tokyo Joshi due to the COVID-19 situation. But fans, I want to make it real clear: I am coming back and I am not coming back just to visit. I am coming back to become the No. 1 contender for what was my championship. So whenever the COVID-19 situation is over, Thunder Rosa will return to Tokyo and I will return for what is rightfully mine,? Rosa said.

Rosa has been able to keep herself busy in the United States, wrestling for multiple promotions, including AEW. Rosa unsuccessfully challenged for the AEW Women?s World Championship at the All Out show back in September.

In addition, Rosa recently retained her NWA Women?s title against Priscilla Kelly on the September 22 edition of UWN Primetime Live.
