First two women advance in NXT Women's Title Tournament.
Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria advanced in the NXT Women's Title tournament on the May 9 episode of NXT.
Stratton picked up a victory over Gigi Dolin in her first round matchup, winning with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. She will face the winner of Roxanne Perez vs. Jacy Jayne in the semifinals.
In her first round match up, Valkyrie knocked off Kiana James with a spinning roundhouse kick. She will face the winner of Cora Jade vs. Fallon Henley in the semifinals.

The finalists will meet at NXT Battleground to crown a new NXT Women's Champion. Indi Hartwell vacated the title on the May 2 episode of NXT due to injury and being drafted to WWE Raw.
