Welcome to the FIghtful.com live coverage for tonight's edition of TNA Impact, I'm Ryan Cook and I'll be taking you through all of the action as the Bound for Glory Series continues. Be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for all of the action.
-Matt comes out and says he used to care about Jeff aka Brother Nero, summoning him to the ring. Reby follows him to the ring as they do the obsolete gimmick again. Matt says that he owns everything Hardy. Matt says that Jeff's only job tonight is to ensure it happens. Jeff says that if Matt is so great he doesn't need his help. Matt says he's not asking for his help, he's commanding his servitude. Matt asks why Jeff always denies him, no one says no to him except for him.
Matt Hardy vs EC3
-Before the match Matt and EC3 make faces at one another, this is just strange. Matt tries to bite him, but EC3 says they could drop a dilapidated boat on his head and that won't stop him. EC3 says that Jeff is not Brother Nero, he's Jeffrey Hardy and he's a relevant creature. Matt says he will eat EC3 and his cats and EC3 says he can say anything about him, but his cats is a different story.
EC3 gains the advantage quickly as the match starts, almost immediately going for a pin after an elbow drop for a quick 2 count. EC3 comes off the top rope with a dropkick and it seems he hurt his ankle as Matt throws him down and headbutts him repeatedly. Matt starts focusing on the injured ankle, kicking at it repeatedly, keeping EC3 grounded EC3 sends Matt outside then hits a springboard cross body, laying Matt out. They get back into the ring and Reby helps Matt who sets up an elevated DDT for a quick 2 count. Matt then bites EC3 then goes for the Twist of Fate, but it's countered. The bridge of the nose of EC3 is busted open, maybe from the biting. Matt hits a Side Effect for a 2 count, Matt takes EC3's feet out from under him then goes out of the ring and slamming EC3's ankle into the post then tries to bite him. EC3 hits the TK3 then Reby distracts EC3, throwing a hammer to Jeff who tosses it back to the ring. Matt starts biting EC3's ankle, but he hits the 1 Percenter and gets the pin and the win after the referee takes the hammer, distracting Matt.
Winner: EC3 via pinfall with the One Percenter
-Jeff and Matt are backstage after we come back from commercial, Matt saying there will be punishment.
Gail Kim vs Madison Rayne
The match starts off at a frenetic pace as both go for multiple pin attempts. Gail misses a crossbody then gets hits with a superkick for a quick 2 count. Madison plays to the crowd as she maintains control, going for a lot of pins, getting visibly frustrated at this point. Gail goes for the roll up after she counters a baseball slide clothesline, but Madison hits a Rayne Check, Gail somehow managing to be right under the ropes. Gail hits Eat Defeat out of no where for the pin and the win.
Winner: Gail Kim via pinfall with Eat Defeat
-Mike Bennett cuts a promo backstage with MOOSE, saying he's going to beat Drew Galloway then Lashley. We get a video package on how Rosemary became so deranged when her cat died. TNA apparently loves cats, but who doesn't?
MOOSE vs David Star
Moose hits a dropkick that sends Star outside of the ring with a standing dropkick onto Star on the top rope. Star goes for a suicide dive, but is caught. Moose comes back into the ring and hits The Game Breaker for the pin and the win. Essentially a squash match that lasts about 3 minutes, good debut for Moose though.
Winner: MOOSE via pinfall with The Game Breaker
DJ Z vs Bobby Lashley X Division Title Ladder Match
As the match starts DJ goes right outside for a ladder, but as soon as he comes back in Lashley starts manhandling him, tossing him around the ring. DJ slides another ladder into the ring, but Lashley picks it up and throws it out of the ring and to the ramp. DJ dives out of the ring and knocks Lashley down then does it again on the announce table. As we come back from commercial Lashley has a ladder on top of DJ and steps on him, then tosses him in the ring, DJ hits a baseball slide and knocks Lashley back, but he gets right back in the ring.
Lashley plays to the crowd as he tosses DJ out of the ring, setting up the ladder for himself. Lashley attempts to climb the ladder, but Dj hits a missle dropkick and sends Lashley out to the floor. DJ then dives off the ladder and out onto Lashley, quickly getting back in the ring. He slowly climbs the ladder, but Lashley gets inside the ladder and carries it and DJ away from the belt, an amazing showing of how strong he is. DJ hits the ZDT, climbing the ladder again, but Lashley meets him, the two exchanging blows on the ladder until Lashley does a military press and tosses DJ off of the ladder to grab the belt and the win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
-After the match EC3 and Drew Galloway talk about how they're not friends as long as the belt is between them. Galloway says he's concerned about Mike Bennett and MOOSE. Galloway says he doesn't want EC3's help as we go to commercial.
-As we come back we get another Rosemary video then Eli Drake comes out, cutting a promo on Bobby Lashley. He says that no one can take his King of the Mountain title from him, until James Storm comes out. Storm says he and Drake are both out of the playoffs, but Drake has the King of the Mountain belt is the first in line for a world title shot. Storm says a bunch of stuff about Drake, including some seemingly homophobic innuendo then asks Drake for another shot at the King of the Mountain title. Drake says if he wants a title shot, he has to quit drinking beer, riding the cooler and as long as he changes his song, then maybe they can do it. Storm drinks two beers then agrees. Drake goes to hit Storm with the belt, but Storm ducks then Drake hits him with the Blunt Force Trauma.
Decay vs The BroMans Monsters Ball Match for the TNA World Tag Team Titles
Decay are in control from the very beginning, The BroMans however level the playing field with chairs and a trash can, at least until Abyss comes back up and takes out both of them. The BroMans quickly recover though and send Abyss into a barbed wire covered board then Crazy Steve into thumbtacks. Jesse goes puts on a submission, but Abyss grabs him and tosses him out of the ring through a table. Abyss then gets under the ring and gets out a barbed wire board and a spiked 2x4. Abyss then chokeslams Robbie E into the barbed wire board then Crazy Steve gets the pin and the win.
Winner: Decay via pinfall
Mike Bennett vs Drew Galloway
-Before the match begins MOOSE comes out of no where and attacks Galloway, hitting a powerbomb onto the apron before tossing him in the ring.
Bennett goes for 4 straight pins, not even getting a 1 count. Bennett drops Galloway with a dropkick and goes for a 5th pin attempt. Bennett hits another front dropkick and goes for the pin yet again. Galloway finally lands some offense with a massive belly to back suplex. Galloway goes for a clothesline off the top rope only for it to be countered in mid-air with a cutter, Bennett going for the pin, but only getting 2 again. Bennett then tosses Galloway outside then into the railing.
As they get back in the ring, Galloway gets a quick 2 count. They exchange right hands until Galloway hits a reverse alabama slam for a quick 2 count. The referee gets hit by Bennett then Galloway hits the Future Shock DDT, but MOOSE comes back out hitting Sky High, but somehow kicks out at a very close 2. EC3 comes out to help Galloway, but MOOSE hits the Game Breaker. Bennett hits the Miracle In Progress out of no where after EC3 accidentally hits Galloway with a kendo stick and gets the pin and the win.
