Tommaso Ciampa Recalls Watching ‘The Lion King With His Daughter, ‘I’m Doing That Thing Where You’re Living Your Childhood With Your Child’
Tommaso Ciampa recalls a special moment with his daughter.
Sharing your favorite movies with your children can be one of the greatest joys for a parent. While chatting with Shirleigh of Fightful during All In weekend, Tommaso Ciampa recalled finally getting his daughter to appreciate ‘The Lion King’.
“I’ll tell you the opening of that movie as a kid, the greatest thing ever. I remember trying it with Willow a
couple of times thinking this is going to be the thing and she was too young. Then there was a time where
Jessie, my wife, was feeling just real sick. So it’s just me and Willow. I was like, ‘I’ll just put this thing on
for me. I’ll just watch it, ‘and don’t you think that was the time she lost her mind? Every animal she was
doing the noises with them. I just remember sitting there and didn’t take the phone out, didn’t video it.
Like, I want to be in this moment and it was just the five minutes of blissfulness of just being like, ‘Holy
crap, I’m doing that thing where you’re living your childhood with your child.’ Oh, my God. To this day, I
can remember exactly where we were, location. Unbelievable.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Ciampa talked about his history with the British wrestling scene. Check out his full comments on the matter by clicking here.
