Tony D’Angelo vs. Dion Lennox Made Official For NXT Vengeance Day
D’Angelo says taking out Lennox would complete one of the two reasons he came back to NXT.
Since Tony D’Angelo returned to WWE’s NXT brand, he’s been targeting DarkState (Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Cutler James & Osiris Griffin). DarkState caused the breakdown of the D’Angelo Family and ultimately was the reason that D’Angelo stepped away from NXT.
D’Angelo cost Shugars and Griffin the NXT Tag Team Championship, and his next task was targeting Dion Lennox. On the 3/3 NXT, D’Angelo attacked Griffin with a crowbar, and that led to Lennox storming the ring to call D’Angelo out.
It was then decided that the two talents would meet at NXT Vengeance Day on March 7th. Lennox and D’Angelo both stated that they’ll kick off their match in the parking lot of the Performance Center.
