Tony Khan Comments On If He Would Accept Custom WWE Title Belt For NFL Jacksonville Jaguars
One of the questions asked of Tony Khan had to do with the Jags and WWE.
When a sports team wins a championship, WWE sends the team a custom championship belt. NFL Jacksonville Jaguars executive and AEW/ROH President Tony Khan was asked if he would accept a custom title belt from WWE if the Jaguars were to win the Super Bowl.
Khan responded with the following while on Jeremy Lambert’s 24-hour In The Weeds charity stream:
“They don’t have a Jaguars — there’s only 31 of those. There’s no Jaguars one.” Khan was asked if the Jaguars did not license it to WWE, and he took a sip of his beverage and replied, “You can draw your own conclusions…”
The Jacksonville Jaguars’ field and stadium have been used twice (2020, 2021) for AEW’s Stadium Stampede matches.
