Tony Schiavone has provided an update on Sonny Kiss.
Fans haven't seen Sonny Kiss since the December 22 episode of AEW Dark and one fan wondered where he's been, wondering if Sonny is injured or had been fired.
During the AEW Dynamite post-show, Tony Schiavone answered that question.
"Didn't get fired. He's been with us. Sonny has been injured. I've seen Sonny in the training room. He's been banged up. I've seen him there, he's just not been able to perform. Sonny is a tremendous athlete," said Schiavone.
Sonny Kiss would later respond to this on Twitter by telling the world that “babygirl is okay.” Tony Schiavone replied saying that he was just doing his best to respond to a fan's question.
Kiss had been a regular performer on AEW Dark in 2020.
