Trick Williams has commented on a recent collaboration between Magic City and WWE, noting that it makes sense for it to happen.
In late August, WWE would release a collaborative line of merchandise alongside Magic City, which drew attention from fans due to the adult nature of the brand, ahead of WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.
While speaking to The Tap Out Tea in a new interview, Trick Williams would react to the merchandise, noting that it makes sense for it to be released when Mr Lemon Pepper Stepper was set to compete at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event.
“So the truth is, for all of those who have been to Magic City, I ain’t saying I have, I ain’t saying I haven’t. No, the rumor is they have the best chicken wings, and they probably have those lemon pepper wings at Magic City. So doesn’t it make sense for Mr. Lemon Pepper Stepper in the home of the lemon pepper wings to be promoted on the same show? I’m just saying.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Williams spoke about why he did not continue the US Title open challenge when he won the championship. You can read more about that here.
