Trick Williams Says He Didn’t Sleep For Two Days After His First Match On The Indies

Trick Williams caught the bug in his first match.
Before signing with WWE, Williams took part in a handful of matches on the indie scene under his Sweet Daddy Trick persona.
As it turns out, Williams didn’t sleep for two days straight after his first match on the indie scene.
“I had my first match on the indies. This was before WWE on the indies. There was probably 20 people. For the first time, when I walked out and that music played, it was all about me. No helmet on, no teammates. It was 20 people but it was about Trick Williams or Sweet Daddy Trick at the time. Bro, I didn’t go to sleep for 48 hours. It was a high I never felt before in my life. Two days, I ain’t sleep. I was up. I knew that, this is what you’re supposed to do right here. It’s literally all about you.” Williams told 4th And South in a new interview.
Elsewhere in the interview, Trick continued to push for a match with Booker T at SummerSlam in 2027. Check out his full comments on the matter by clicking here.
