Triple H Responds To The Undertaker Saying WWE Product Is 'A Little Soft'

The Undertaker made plenty of headlines in January when he appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience and commented on the current state of the WWE product.

When asked if he still watched WWE, Undertaker replied, "I try. It's tough right now, for me, because the product has changed so much. It's kinda soft." You can find his full comments by clicking here.

During the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver media call, Kenny McIntosh of ITR Wrestling asked Triple H about Undertaker's comments given their relationship and Undertaker making trips to the Performance Center.

Triple H replied, "Everybody has opinions of the business and the business always morphs and changes and people have opinions and you can agree with them or disagree with them. Undertaker has always been one of those guys that's bluntly honest. The great thing about him is he's bluntly honest with an opinion; here's how I think it should be and here's how I can help you can get there. He's wide open to all of that. His comments and intentions are always with the best intent or desire to improve. I believe he has a wealth of knowledge and when he speaks -- there are certain guys that have been around for a long time and seen a lot of things and they've earned a right to speak and you listen. You take their point of view and you work with it. He's one of those guys, for sure. Every generation is different and what people are willing to accept. At the end of the day, all of this is opinion. We all like what we like and dislike and we give our opinion. It comes down to what the masses of people like. I absolutely respect Undertaker's opinion and take it into account and look forward to working with him."

Many have given their opinions on The Undertaker's comments, including Roman Reigns, who said "it was like a retired guy trying to sound gangster." You can find Roman's full comments by clicking here.

Elsewhere during the media call, Triple H weighed in on Chris Jericho appearing on Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
