Triple Threat For NXT Championship Made Official For Heatwave PLE
Latest bout set for Heatwave.
With Zilla Fatu crashing the number one contenders match between Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana, it left the NXT Title match at the Heatwave Premium Live Event up in the air.
There was an in-ring segment on the 8/18 NXT on The CW with Montana, Waller, and NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo.
NXT General Manager Robert Stone showed up and made it official that at Heatwave, Waller, Montana, and D’Angelo will compete for the NXT Championship in a Triple Threat match.
Below is the updated lineup for the August 30th P.L.E. in Edinburgh, Texas:
- NXT Championship — Triple Threat Match: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Cruz Montana vs. Grayson Waller
- NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey (c) vs. Kelani Jordan
- Title Unification Match — NXT Women’s North American & WWE Women’s Speed Championships: ZARIA (North American) vs. Wren Sinclair (Women’s Speed)
