Tyson Kidd Originally Asked To Produce 'One Or Two' Women's Matches At WM 37, Requested All Four

Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson) has often been praised for his work with the WWE women's division since he became the producer for the division following his retirement.

Not only does Kidd help put together the matches, but he trains with the women at the new Hart Dungeon with Natalya. In return, Kidd is very complimentary of all the women on the WWE roster for their work ethic and abilities.

Speaking to Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions, Natalya and Tamina continued to heap praise on Kidd.

"The way he puts over the girls actually pisses me off," joked Natalya. "As TJ's wife, I want to be the queen bee. He'll be doing a podcast and he's almost in tears talking about a match he produced with Sasha & Bayley against Nia & Tamina and he's like, 'That's the greatest match I've ever produced.' I'm like, 'TJ, I get it, they're great.' He's a huge advocate for the girls and cares so much about them. TJ takes on the women's matches as if they're his own because he can't compete anymore. He told Vince the other day, 'I never realized that being a producer would be more fulfilling to me and working with the women than it would be in my own career. I've become so fulfilled in this role and seeing others rise to this occasion that it means more to me than anything I did in my career.' Vince was like, 'TJ, that makes me so happy.' TJ said, 'I can't even put into words how much working with the girls and seeing them accomplish their dreams, it means so much and is the biggest thing I've done in my career. This is my WrestleMania moment.'

Tamina added, "He gets every single girl. He knows everyone's moves and how to protect and how to make everything great and amazing. I don't know what we would do without TJ. He is the mastermind behind it all and he executes everything and he gives us the confidence to come through with whatever we put together. He's a real man and gives everything to us."

At WrestleMania 37, Kidd was listed as the producer for all four women's matches across the two nights. Originally, he wasn't going to have all four matches, but he requested to do so.

"TJ is so inspired by the women. This is hard to say, but I feel like his injury, in some ways, was a blessing in disguise and helped him find something inside himself that he didn't know he had to inspire a generation of women to shoot for the stars. That's the happy ending. He produced all the women's matches at Mania. They said to him, 'you're only going to have one or two matches.' He said, 'No, I want all of them,'" said Natalya.

Following WrestleMania 37, many on the women's roster took to social media to praise Kidd for his efforts at WrestleMania 37. You can view their comments by clicking here.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Natalya revealed her original plans before the team with Tamina came to fruition. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
