Las Vegas (April 10, 2026) – Paramount, a Skydance Corporation, (NASDAQ: PSKY) and UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, today announced a long-term extension with veteran analyst and commentator Laura Sanko. Sanko will continue her fight coverage on Paramount+, the exclusive home for UFC in the U.S. and Latin America, including as desk analyst for this weekend’s highly anticipated event at UFC 327 in Miami, Fla.
Initially getting her start as a backstage reporter on Fox in 2016 before joining the inaugural season of Dana White’s Contender Series in the same role in 2017, Sanko made history in 2021 as the first female color commentator in the modern UFC era on that year’s inaugural season of DWCS. She’d make history once more two years later, making her UFC broadcast debut at UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: LEWIS vs. SPIVAC on February 4, 2023. Sanko will continue to provide fighter interviews, cage side reporting, and be a staple on the morning weigh-in show.
A jiu-jitsu black belt and former atomweight of Invicta FC with a professional record of 1-0 and a 4-1 amateur record, Sanko brings her firsthand fight experience and high fight IQ to the airwaves by providing key insight, unique fight analysis, and detailed breakdowns of the action.
“It is an incredible honor to continue my journey with the UFC as a color commentator and analyst,” said Sanko. “2026 marks my 10th year being on-air with the UFC and it’s been an amazing journey. I especially want to thank the UFC for giving me the opportunity to step into a role which, at the time, was new territory for a woman. I have loved every moment of analysis and storytelling this job has afforded me. From Dana White’s Contender Series to numbered events, from the analyst desk to the cage side commentary, I am ready to bring my best to the broadcasts and continue resonating with the hardcores, as well as the millions of new fans that Paramount+ is bringing to the sport. From my fellow broadcast partners, to our producers, to everyone behind the scenes, we truly have the best team in the world and I’m ready for another amazing chapter!”
