“You know, if the UFC and I decided not to continue our relationship together, I want so desperately to be in the WWE. That is what got me into fighting, to begin with. I love that sport. I love every part of it. That would be a dream. But I like fighting so much, I don't want to stop. I'm sure I will land on my feet in, I don’t know, Bare Knuckle boxing, maybe, I’ll go back to Bellator, or, I love tournaments the PFL tournament might be perfect for me,” said Sam Alvey while speaking to Sportskeeda MMA.

Despite his desire to be a WWE Superstar, he still wants to be are UFC fighter and his hope is that he will not only get a new UFC contract but a massive raise as well. Because of this, he has not openly spoken about his WWE desires

“I have not spoken to anyone about it yet,” he said. “Because honestly, my whole entire intention is to stay in the UFC, I want to win so dominantly and impressively that the UFC wants to not only give me a new contract but a massive raise, too. So we'll see what happens. But that is the goal.”

Speaking about his favorite wrestlers growing up, Alvey singles out The Rock and current AEW Superstar Chris Jericho.

“I love The Rock, everyone kind of does. But, Chris Jericho is way high on my list, too. I forgot how much I liked him. I'm watching on the peacock app, the Monday Night Wars, and I'm just re-watching some of Jericho because I love Jericho,” he said.

Alvey’s next fight will take place on UFC on ESPN 40 on Saturday, August 6.
