Bandido, Ultimo Guerrero And More Test Positive For COVID-19, Changes Made For CMLL 87th Anniversary Show

A pair of CMLL wrestlers have tested positive for COVID-19 and caused several changes in the Anniversary card.

CMLL announced that Ultimo Guerrero has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not wrestle on the 87th Anniversary show taking place on September 25. Ultimo Guerrero, alongside Euforia & Gran Guerrero, was supposed to defend the CMLL World Trios Titles against the team of El Terrible, Templario & Hechicero.

However, that match is no longer happening and CMLL revealed a replacement match: Titan vs. Soberano Jr. for the CMLL World Welterweight Title. In addition, Lluvia has also tested positive for COVID-19 and is no longer challenging La Metallica for the Mexico National Women's Title. Replacing Lluvia in the match is Reyna Isis.

CMLL also announced that Bandido tested positive for COVID-19, taking him out of his scheduled NWA Welterweight Championship bout against Volador Jr.

Lastly, Dalys will replace Princesa Sugehit to challenge Marcela for the CMLL Women's World Title after Sugehit was revealed to be the first CMLL wrestler to test positive for COVID-19.
