Vietnam Pro Wrestling Champion Ares Invited To Join NJPW Dojo By Yota Tsuji

Yota Tsuji makes an offer to Ares.

Ares, the champion of Vietnam Pro Wrestling, posted on Instagram that he was invited to the NJPW Dojo by the IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

From Ares:

2020, I knew Vietnam Pro Wrestling (VPW) online and by 2021, I joined my first draft – a place I never thought would be my 2nd family. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to be the VPW Champion 3 years in a row and have the opportunity to represent Vietnam competing all over Southeast Asia.

My life has made so many decisions that affect my life so far. Yes yes, wrong too, but I always believe that all decisions have reasons and challenges. Best decision of my life was going to VPW. And thank you self for not giving up on the passion that everyone around doubted. The Undertaker once spoke at HOF: ”Fight for your dreams, and your dreams will fight for you“, this statement has always been deep in my head, always telling me to be unstoppable.

Last night, that dream came true: Yota Tsuji—the IWGP Heavyweight Champion of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)—came all the way to Vietnam and stepped into the VPW ring to invite me to a professional wrestling training program at the NJPW Dojo. And I officially became the first wrestler from VPW and from Vietnam to make it onto the world stage.

I would like to express my gratitude to NJPW—including Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi, President Hiroshi Tanahashi, IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji, and everyone at NJPW—for giving me this opportunity.
