W. Morrissey: I Feel Like I'm Doing The Best Work Of My Career In IMPACT

W. Morrissey is having a blast in IMPACT.

IMPACT's 2021 Rebellion pay-per-view was an eventful night for the company. Aside from AEW's Kenny Omega winning the promotion's World Title from Rich Swann, W. Morrissey made waves when he made his company debut. Morrissey has since gone on to have matches with the company's biggest stars like Moose, Willie Mack and Matt Cardona.

When appearing on the latest episode of The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Morrissey expressed his content with his current workplace and stated that he feels like he's doing the best work of his career.

"Yeah, IMPACT has been great. The crew there has been awesome. The writing team is fucking awesome. I really like it there. Now that I’m sober and have a good head on my shoulders, I feel like I’m doing the best work of my career. I feel like I’m getting better and better each time I’m out there. I feel like I’m reaching for that potential I talked about. I feel myself getting more confident. I feel myself getting better. Even when I watch my stuff back, I am getting better. It’s been a really good experience at IMPACT, it’s really awesome there. Everybody’s cool. I think it was the perfect place to come back into [TV wrestling]. It’s given me an opportunity to grow and pitch ideas for myself and try to work with them to [bring out the best in me].”

Morrissey recently turned babyface in the company and is currently in a feud with Matt Cardona and Brian Myers. He was also teased to be Wardlow's mystery opponent on next week's episode of AEW Dynamite, which you can learn more by clicking here.

Morrissey is enjoying his singles run so much that he isn't focused on a full-time reunion with nZo, but didn't rule it out for the future. Click here to learn more.
