Will Ospreay advances in the Men’s Owen Hart Cup.

The first round bout between Will Ospreay and Samoa Joe took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2026. As Joe entered the ring, he got hit by an Oscutter.

He got a ton of offense against Joe early on, before being stopped by the Coquina Clutch outside the ring. Later on, Joe targeted Ospreay’s neck.

Towards the end of the bout, Joe put Ospreay to sleep with the Coquina Clutch again, but the latter got his fingers on the rope. He then delivered two back-to-back Hidden Blades to Joe to get the pinfall.

Ospreay has now advanced to the semi-finals in the Men’s Owen Hart Cup.
