Will Ospreay To Defend AEW World Title In Clockwork Carnage At AEW WrestleDream

The Clockwork Carnage match has been announced for AEW WrestleDream.

On the 10/3 AEW Collision, it was announced that Will Ospreay talked to Tony Khan about bringing the Clockwork Carnage match type to All Elite Wrestling. Ospreay will be defending his AEW World Championship in this match at AEW WrestleDream. The rules for this match are as follows:

“8 COMPETITORS. TWO STAGES. ONE WINNER

2 WRESTLERS START THE MATCH SELECTED AT RANDOM

EVERY 3 MINUTES, ANOTHER RANDOMLY SELECTED WRESTLER ENTERS

UNTIL ALL 8 WRESTLERS HAVE ENTERED, ANY WRESTLER WHO IS PINNED OR SUBMITS IS ELIMINATED

ONCE THE FINAL WRESTLER ENTERS, ALL REMAINING WRESTLERS ENTER A 15-MINUTE SCORING PERIOD

DURING THOSE 15 MINUTES, EVERY PINFALL OR SUBMISSION SCORES ONE FALL

WHEN TIME EXPIRES, THE WRESTLER WITH THE MOST FALLS WINS”

Clockwork Carnage is a concept created by Will Ospreay. It was introduced in Pro Wrestling Eve last month and used at EVE Global Thunder Queens for the first time to determine the next challenger for the EVE Championship.
