Willie Mack is the new X-Division Champion.
At IMPACT Rebellion Night One, Willie Mack defeated Ace Austin to capture the X-Division Title. Austin gave Mack everything he could handle, including hitting him with The Fold, which Mack kicked out of. Mack was able to put Austin away with a modified Stunner on the top rope, which caused Austin crashing to the mat. Mack repositioned himself and hit the Six Star Frog Splash, securing the victory.
After the bout, Mack celebrated with his tag team partner Rich Swann, who gave him his blessing to be a singles star while Swann is sidelined. Swann also mentioned the possibility of the two still going after the IMPACT Tag Team Titles.
This marks Mack's first reign as IMPACT X-Division Champion. Austin, who won the title at IMPACT Bound For Glory in October 2019, held the title for 184 days.
