Two new matches have been added to NJPW Strong Independence Day.
NJPW confirmed that Willow Nightingale will defend her NJPW Strong Women's Championship against Giulia at night two of NJPW Strong Independence Day on July 5.
At STARDOM SUNSHINE 2023 on June 25, Giulia stated that she would like to head overseas and compete on NJPW STRONG, calling out Nightingale for the NJPW Strong Women's Championship. Willow accepted the bout on the day of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
As a preview for the bout, Willow will team with Momo Kohgo to face Giulia & Thekla at NJPW Strong Independence Day night one on July 4.
