WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the arcade-style video game release that was a replacement for the yearly simulation-based game in 2020, is available for free on PlayStation 4 in the month of July for all PlayStation Plus subscribers and is available starting Tuesday, July 6 until Monday, August 2.
The game features a who's who of professional wrestling including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Ultimate Warrior, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Randy Savage, and more. The gameplay style is meant to be a very easily accessible pick-up-and-play game for wrestling fans of all generations.
There are numerous names available to add via downloadable content including Chyna, Doink the Clown, Mr. Perfect, and more.
In addition to WWE 2K Battlegrounds, PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to adding games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, and A Plague Tale: Innocence to their collection. Learn more here.
