WWE 2K22 Executive Producer Announces He's Moving On From The Series

Patrick Gilmore, after helping lead the direction of WWE 2K22, is exiting WWE 2K in search of “new adventures.”

Patrick Gilmore, who has experience in video games dating back to Aladdin on the Sega Genesis, was brought on as the executive producer of WWE 2K22 and helped lead a very successful launch following the poorly-received release of WWE 2K20. Now, Patrick has announced on social media that he is moving on from WWE 2K, after just one game as executive producer.

It was recently reported that Bryan Williams would be returning to the franchise, leaving Yuke's, who is currently working on the AEW console video game, AEW: Fight Forever. Learn more here.

There has been no direct confirmation of a sequel to WWE 2K22 as of yet but the game was well-received enough to be celebrated on the most recent WWE earnings call. Learn more here.
