WWE Approached Numerous Talent About Taking Pay Cuts On Day Of Mass Releases

An exclusive update on the WWE talent cuts.
On April 24th, there were a multitude of talent departures and releases from WWE. Fightful Select has since learned that on that same day, WWE approached a number of talent and asked them to take pay cuts to remain with the company.
Several of those approached names were given two days to make their decision.
Sources told @FightfulSelect that on the day of the mass releases, WWE approached numerous talent and asked them to take pay cuts in order to remain with the company. Several of them that we heard about were given two days to make that decision.

In May, the likes of J.C. Mateo, Tonga Loa, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods departed WWE.
