WWE Confirms Tegan Nox Suffered Torn ACL, Has Already Undergone Surgery

A tough break for Tegan Nox.

WWE has confirmed that Tegan Nox suffered a torn ACL, with the storyline reason being the attack orchestrated by Candice LeRae last Wednesday on NXT. Nox was set to compete in the women's battle royal with the winner receiving an NXT Women's Title match against Io Shirai at TakeOver 31. Before the match, LeRae attacked Nox with a pipe and ran an equipment box into her knee, taking her out of the match. LeRae would go on to win the battle royal.

Triple H stated on the NXT media call that Nox has already undergone surgery for the injury.

Nox last wrestled on the August 14 edition of SmackDown, competing in the SmackDown Women's Title number one contender battle royal.

Nox previously suffered ACL tears in 2017 before the first Mae Young Classic and 2018 in the quarter-finals of the second Mae Young Classic.

It is unknown how long Nox will be out of action for.
