Liv Morgan and Carmella faced off on the Extreme Rules kickoff show.
The two women have been feuding for a number of weeks now, but tensions escalated after Morgan nearly broke Carmella's nose during a tag team match. Carmella has hit back at Liv verbally and physically, most recently costing her a victory this past Friday against Zelina Vega. Morgan has vowed to make Carmella look as hideous on the outside as she is on the inside.

Carmella vs. Liv Morgan
Carmella is in control early as she gets several two counts before locking in a rear chin lock and Liv gets to her feet and comes back with elbows only for Carmella to slam her back by her hair for two. Liv and Carmella exchange strikes until Liv hits a Thesz press and a running knee in the corner into an enzuigiri before hitting a double stomp for a near fall. The two exchange pin attempts until Carmella superkicks Liv for a near fall before Liv hits a variation of a Code Breaker for a near fall of her own before Carmella locks in an upside down and slaps Liv. Carmella then dumps Liv out of the ring before Liv sends her face first into the announce table and tosses her back inside before hitting a slingshot flat liner for the pin and the win.
Winner: Liv Morgan defeats Carmella via pinfall.
This was only Liv Morgan's second-ever singles match on WWE's main roster.
