WWE have hopes that Chad Gable will return to WWE programming before the 2026 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.

Over the Summer period, Chad Gable would suffer a shoulder injury that would take him out of action, leading to Ludwig Kaiser donning the El Grande Americano mask in the meantime. He would undergo surgery following the injury, and has remained on the sidelines of WWE since. Now, we have an update on when fans could see Gable back in a WWE ring.

In a new report by Fightful Select, it was noted that WWE are hoping that Gable will return to action in time for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, which is currently scheduled for January 31st, 2026 from Saudi Arabia.

In Gable’s absence, El Grande Americano has struck up a friendship with Dominik Mysterio and has even added to the masked stars on WWE RAW with Los Americanos.
