WrestleVotes on Fightful Select reports, “WWE is in active negotiations with the city of Nashville, Tennessee about potentially bringing WrestleMania 44 there.”

In November 2021, a report was published by The Tennessean quoting Butch Spyridon, CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, who said there was a verbal commitment from WWE that Nashville would host WrestleMania 43 at the new Nissan Stadium, which is still in the process of being built. Nashville will open Nissan Stadium in 2027.
