‘WWE: Made In America’ Documentary To Premiere On May 29
A new WWE documentary is coming to USA Network titled “WWE: Made In America.”
Joe Otterson of Variety reports “WWE: Made in America” will premiere on May 29 following SmackDown.
The description reads, “WWE: Made in America” will explore “the evolution of a regional business into a global powerhouse, examining how the company mirrored the American spirit across five decades — from the patriotic heroes of the 1980’s all the way through to the newest generation of superstars continuing to further WWE’s American legacy.”
The special will be hosted by commentator Joe Tessitore, with a special tribute performance of “America the Beautiful” by Lilian Garcia from Nashville, TN. It will feature interviews with WWE stars including: Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Hart, The Undertaker, Booker T, Sgt. Slaughter, Kane, Matt Cardona, Carmelo Hayes, Nattie, Je’Von Evans, Lilian Garcia, and Erielle Reshef. It will also highlight rarely seen interviews from the WWE archives.
