WWE has posted a storyline update in regards to Matt Hardy's condition.
Hardy was brutally attacked by Randy Orton on Raw this week after their planned No Holds Barred never happened. As such, Hardy was taken to a "medical facility" and WWE has posted the following storyline update.

After tweeting from a medical facility in the wake of a vicious attack he suffered at the hands of Randy Orton on Monday Night Raw, Matt Hardy was discharged and returned home earlier today, WWE.com has learned.

Hardy's contract is set to expire on March 1 and he has reportedly yet to sign a new deal. Following last week's segment, where Orton laid out Hardy with only one con-chair-to, Hardy took to social media to tweet "goodbye."
