Blake signed with WWE in June 2013, making his NXT television debut in January 2014. He formed a tag team with Buddy Murphy in August 2014 on NXT. The duo would go on to win the NXT Tag Team Titles during their time on the brand.

Blake would form The Forgotten Sons with Steve Cutler in April 2017 at a live event. The duo would add Jaxson Ryker to the group and debut on television in August 2018. They debuted as a trio on the April 10, 2020 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Ryker was removed from the group and they were taken off television shortly after with Ryker landing himself in hot water over pro-Donald Trump tweets.

Blake would return to television alongside Cutler as members of The Knights of the Lone Wolf with King Corbin. Cutler was released by WWE in February and Blake would not return to television.

Wesley Blake commented on his release, appearing very grateful in a brief Instagram post.
